霧のむこうのふしぎな町
『千と千尋の神隠し』の元ネタの一つということで興味を惹かれた。『千と…』は僕が分かるだけでも『ゲド』や『クラバート』等からアイデアを取ってきていて、色んな要素がごちゃ混ぜで節操のないお話という印象であるが、冒頭から約30分間のホラー的展開が素晴らしい。大好きである。『マイマイ新子と千年の魔法』を観る迄は一番好きなアニメ映画だった。
本書は『千と…』と違い、とてもスッキリとしたお話である。夏休み、女の子リナはお父さんから渡された不思議な傘に導かれて、不思議な町に行く。そこで暮らすには働かなくてはならない、といった内容。あっさりしていて、子供の本らしい余白の大きさが良い。10歳前後の子供は好きになるだろうと思う。僕も好きである。
